I recently had the joy of sitting down with Mike Betts who has a responsibility for serving the Relational Mission family of churches within newfrontiers. The culture around us idolises youth. Wrongly in my opinion. The Bible says there's nothing new under the sun. And in these days we need more than ever to be listening to and cherishing the wisdom of those in the second half of life.
Mike is a long term friend and father figure to me. A man who has poured countless hours into listening, loving, encouraging and challenging me. I count myself a very blessed man to have him as a friend. His wisdom is priceless and his story is one I wanted all to hear. Here's Part 1:
